Outreach and Substance Use Prevention Services
Outreach and Substance Use Prevention Services includes the provision of substance use pre-treatment and case management services to provide pre-treatment readiness groups for those who are not ready for inpatient treatment as well as links individuals to substance use treatment and provides post-treatment support services through face to face communication and technology. Additionally, the Outreach division conducts HIV risk reduction counseling and testing; performs community and street outreach, and operates a Condom Distribution Network comprised of local businesses that accept safer sex kits for distribution to their customers, and sponsors various community-wide HIV awareness and testing events.
